Shipping & FAQ
Products are made and packaged by hand. We aim for perfection when creating all our products. All orders require 7 -14 Business days (Monday - Friday) processing before shipping. Orders are shipped via UPS Ground and USPS Priority Mail.
How much is shipping?
There are many factors that determine shipping cost. The number of items, weight of the package and distance for shipment. On average shipping prices range from $5.50 - $13.75. International orders, PO Boxes, and packages under one pound ship using USPS as the carrier. All other packages are shipped via UPS Ground.
My package was returned.
If your package is returned to us, you will be notified via email. Depending on the condition of the product we may offer reshipment. We provide the following options:
1.Refund your order total, minus shipping cost.
2.Schedule to have your order shipped again with additional shipping cost. *If product is still in good condition.
During high volume times, reshipment may not be available.
Package lost, stolen or damaged?
Once Packages leave our facility, we are no longer responsible for transit. If your package was lost or stolen, you must file a claim with UPS OR USPS. Click the link below to start the process of your claim.
To avoid the inconvenience of lost or stolen packages, we suggest having packages shipped to your work address, if possible.
Return & Exchange Policy
We do not offer refunds or cancellations once an order is placed. If we made a mistake with your order (wrong size or product) please email us. We will correct your order immediately and send the right order at no additional cost. Due to the nature of our products we currently do not offer exchanges.
Do you use color dye or glitter in your soap?
That’s a great question and one we get all the time. We do not use dye in any of our products. We use a coloring powder called Mica. Mica is a naturally occurring skin safe mineral. Mica powder is sparkly and may resemble glitter but it’s not. Mica is safe for all skin types and does not dye your skin in any way.
Why is your website sold out?
Due to our high demand, products are only available during scheduled restocks. Every product is handmade and packaged by hand. At times, orders exceed how fast we can work. Because of this we only accept orders during a specific day and time. Subscribe to our website to be updated on restocks.
When will my package ship?
Our shipping policy is 10-14 Business Days. I understand that the shipping can be a little long. On average we receive 4000+ orders during a restock. During this time frame we are making, packaging and shipping your product. We love to make our products fresh for 100% potency. We can’t give an exact date on when your order will ship, but it will ship within that time frame.
My order is still saying pre-shipment, what’s going on?
When our staff creates a label to ship your package, you’ll receive a notification that your order has shipped. It can take anywhere from 24-48 hours to show tracking updates. Once a label is created UPS OR USPS is notified and a carrier is sent to pick up all packages. In most cases they pick up the same day. However, depending on their workload, it can take them 24-48 hours to pick up. Once your package is picked up your tracking will update with an estimated delivery date.
Do you use Lye (Sodium Hydroxide) in your soap?
Of Course. No lye = No soap!
All REAL soap is made with lye. Any skin or hair cleansing product made without sodium hydroxide is not soap, it is a detergent. Lye, which is an alkali, is combined with vegetable oils to cause a chemical reaction. This reaction breaks down the fats or oils into fatty acid chains, and the lye is neutralized in the process. If the soap is made properly, the lye is used up in the saponification process to turn oil into soap. There is no lye present in the finished bars of soap or shampoo. While all real soap must be made with lye, no lye remains in our finished product.
Do you accept pre-orders?
I understand that at times it can be hard to catch our restocks. Unfortunately, we do not offer pre-orders. Follow us on IG:@GoddessoftheSeaBeauty for updates.
My address is wrong on my confirmation.
If your address is wrong, please email us and we will update it. For fraud prevention we can not change your entire shipping address. However, we will update minor errors (your zip code, apartment number, house number and etc).
Where can I buy?
As of now products can only be purchased online.
What products are suitable for use on babies?
For newborns and all ages, we recommend the “Oh Baby Oat Bar”, for ages 1- 3 ‘Oatmeal & Honey”, and for 3+ any bar.

Why do colors and designs vary?
All products are handmade with love. Because we love what we do, we allow our creative energy to take control. Thus, creating beautiful, colorful and amazing soap. We understand that at times you may wish to have a specific color. Due to our large customer base, that is something we cannot accommodate at this time. Allowing personal request would increase order processing time. Regardless of the color or design, the healing properties are the same.
I recently purchased a soap and my skin is breaking out.
If you are experiencing any type of breakout or skin reaction, please discontinue use immediately. Although our products are made with natural and organic ingredients, it’s still possible that you may be allergic to or your skin is too sensitive to an ingredient.
What ingredients do you use to make soap?
Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), Aqua/Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Propylene Glycol (of vegetable origin), Sorbitan oleate (emulsifier), Oat Protein (conditioner) plus any essential oils listed under each soap.
